Behind the Brand

I’m Daxton Eugene Price, a design student at The Fashion Institute through Salt Lake Community College. My design style is deeply inspired by naturalism and the concept of patina—the beauty found in the wear and aging of garments. I believe in wearing our clothes to the ground, allowing them to live with us, rather than constantly replacing them with something new. Patina reflects a garment’s story. The more a piece is worn, the more personal and meaningful it becomes to the wearer.

This philosophy drives much of my work. I frequently use leather as a primary textile because of how it ages—developing character and telling a unique story over time. I also incorporate intentionally unhemmed chiffon to allow garments to evolve naturally. As they unravel with wear, they begin to mirror the wearer’s journey—adding personality, individuality, and authenticity to each piece. For me, fashion is not just about aesthetics, but about honoring the lived experience within every thread.
